I was asked to work on a piece that was related to recreation in the context of the home. I thought about how the toilet is the most sacred and private place you could have in your house. I was inspired by true events where I had heard a woman taking a shit next to me in a mall and was enjoying herself. There's a kind of satisfaction you get from shitting and hearing the *plop* when your turd hits the water. By placing a microphone on the toilet, I was focusing on the sounds that you make from urinating and pooping.
